Who is Daniel Arap MOI ?

Moi is Kenya's second President after independence and the longest serving President who served from 1978-2002 in succession of President Jomo Kenyatta after his demise. He was born on the 2nd of September 1924 to a poor peasant family in the Rift Valley. Mr. Moi studied in the Africa Inland Mission school before taking training as a teacher. He became a teacher at 21 and worked till 1955, he then engaged in politics and was elected parliamentarian of the Rift Valley. Mr. Moi was also part of the team which drew Kenya's first constitution in London. During his tenure in office, President Kenyatta groomed Moi to succeed him. Tips and tricks to boost the security of your Facebook account 1 . Create a strong password. In creating your passwords (in any web site), avoid using your; name, birth date, pets, common words. Do make your password hard to guess. · A strong password should be at least 10 characters long, the more, the better. WhatsApp’s change of privacy policy and how it affects you.

Renown messaging app WhatsApp owned by Facebook has up to two billion users. Recently, all users have received a notice through a pop-up alert in the app narrowing down on the policies that are in place. This has stirred a debate on Facebook’s promise of privacy. Soon you’ll have to either use WhatsApp with those concerns in mind or switch to another messaging service. NOTE Facebook is a company as well as a social media app/site. Facebook.inc purchased WhatsApp in 2016 promising to keep user’s privacy protected as it was and that there will be no further changes. However, back then WhatsApp shared data with Facebook by default for the sake of better advert targeting. But the users could opt out at any time with no strings attached. "The youth is the hope of our future" said Jose Rizal. This and many other writings underscore the place of the youth in national building. Young people are spontaneous and adventurous. They're energetic and more responsive to change. This features give them the responsibility of driving positive change, which is a function of nation building. If you were to be a contractor who would you rather assign to supply blocks around? A young person right? Yes, young people are supposed to be given the shovel, helmets and boots to build the kind of country they want their children to live in- their dream country. Every government has a an army who are responsible for the safety and security of the state. Sometimes when the military get unsatisfied with the executive arm of government, they resort to seize the executive power. This is in other words referred to as a coup d'etat. Most Burkinabes are familiar with that expression, I mean very familiar and I'll tell you why. As at last year, more than 200 coup d'etats have successfully happened in Africa with the most recent occuring in Chad and then Burkina Faso on the 23rd of January 2022. People have different views of coup d'etats, while some think it's detestable, others rather think it serves the best interest of the citizens. Early last week, Alasane Ouattara made an announcement deciding not to run for the Presidential elections anymore. The decision of his came with a lot of appreciation from Africans and some world leaders especially French President, Emmanuel Macron who in his message to Mr., Ouattara, appreciated him for keeping his promise. This only means one thing; Mr. Ouattara had promised Macron he would not contest for the Presidency. Why would it be a promise? I just cannot answer that question yet.
