"The youth is the hope of our future" said Jose Rizal. This and many other writings underscore the place of the youth in national building. Young people are spontaneous and adventurous. African Politics spotlight this week

                Early last week, Alasane Ouattara made an announcement deciding not to run for the Presidential elections anymore. The decision of his came with a lot of appreciation from Africans and some world leaders especially French President, Emmanuel Macron who in his message to Mr., Ouattara, appreciated him for keeping his promise. This only means one thing; Mr. Ouattara had promised Macron he would not contest for the Presidency. Why would it be a promise? I just cannot answer that question yet.                    Just few days after that, Guinea’s President, Alpha Conde, also decides not to re run for the Guinean Presidency.
